Eloise Moran - Obituary

n Tuesday, July 6, 2010, Eloise C. Moran passed away surrounded by family and friends. Eloise was born in Hickory, NC on September 25, 1916. She moved to the Washington, DC area when she was 10 years old. She came from a family of eleven children. The beloved wife of the late Elbert Moran; mother of Eloise C. (William)Walls, Betty A. Moran, Nancy P. (Wayne)Cannon; stepmother of Elbert M.”Maxie” Moran, Jr.; sister of Ralph and Richard Fortune; grandmother of Mickie Moran, Elbert M. Moran III, James R. Walls, William M.(Lexi) Walls, Lisa C.(Basil) Barianos, Nicole M. Soto, Kristy L. Cannon and Lauren M. (Jamie) Glassman. She is also survived by many great and great, great grandchildren, and her caregiver Janette Ford. Family and friends are invited to Eloise's Life Celebration on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 where services will be held on Monday, July 12 at 10am. Interment Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
