Emily Ann Harmon - Obituary

mily Ann Harmon of Gambrills passed away on August 31, 2026. She was 76 years old. She was born on July 7, 1950 to the late Joan Ann Ferris and Joseph Aloysius Latoff. Emily worked for the State of Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation in Prince George’s County. At her residence, she continued the legacy of the Half Acre Garden Club, founded by her mother in Michigan. Along with gardening, she enjoyed helping others and interior design. Emily is survived by her son Stephen of Gambrills, MD, daughter Julie of Owings Mills, MD, grandchildren Ethan and Emma, brothers Richard of Alexandria, VA and Jim of Bowie, MD, and sister Elaine of Michigan.
