Emre Teoman - Obituary

mre Teoman, 47, of Pasadena, MD died on January 14, 2011 at Anne Arundel Medical Center due to an autonomic system condition. Born February 17, 1963 in Istanbul, Turkey to Mete & Sule Teoman of Riva, MD, he graduated from University of Maryland with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and from the University of Michigan with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Emre co-owned and operated Teosys Engineering, a laser micromachining company, in Crofton, MD. He enjoyed skiing and scuba diving. Along with his parents, Emre is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth and Melissa Teoman, both of Columbia, MD ; a brother, Deniz Teoman of San Mateo, CA; his fiancé, Dana Church of Pasadena, MD. He is also survived by his former wife, Patricia Lynne Teoman. Friends are invited to Emre’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Thursday, January 20 from 6 to 8pm. Service and interment private.
