Erma Shillingburg - Obituary

rma Jean “Jeannie” Shillingburg of Annapolis, Md. lost her valiant fight against cancer on Tuesday, April 28, 2009. She is survived by her husband Robert Burr Shillingburg and daughter Robyn. Born January 1, 1936 and raised in Midland, MD., Jeannie was the daughter of the late Frank Edward and Mary Kathleen Robertson. Jeannie worked as a proofreader of legislative bills for the Maryland General Assembly for over 30 years. Prior to that, Jeannie was employed by the Health Departments of both Anne Arundel and Allegany Counties. She is survived by sisters Chloe Dhillon of Annapolis, MD.; Cassie Martin and husband Buck of Westminster, Md.; Maggie Hoff and husband Bernie of Annapolis, Md.; and Teri Brown of Cumberland, Md. and brother Ed Robertson and wife Rebecca of Sylacauga, AL. She adored her many nieces and nephews who were a special part of her life. She was preceded in death by her brother Frank Robertson of Bisbee, AZ; brothers-in-law Singh Dhillon of Annapolis, MD. and Richard Brown of Cumberland, MD. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May ­­9, 2009 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD. 21037. Interment private.
