rminia Fortune (Fortunato) Nee Desiderio, died peacefully at 102 years of age. She was the beloved wife of the late Sam Fortune (Salvatore Fortunato). Mother of Alexander Fortunato (Sherry) and Anna Hanbury (Jimmy). Grandmother of James (Bingo) Hanbury Jr, (Debbie), Jeffrey Hanbury, (Rhonda) Joseph D. Hanbury, (Trudy) Ronald Fortunato, (Martha), Deborah Fortunato Jones, (Dennis), and Daniel Fortunato, (DeAnna). Granny Fortune leaves 14 Great Grand children and 13 Great-Great Grand children. Born in Cheiti,Abruzzi, Italy on October 25, 1907 to the late Maria Rapposelli and Giuseppi Desiderio. Immigrated to America in 1932. Died April 9, 2010. She excelled in everything she did. Wife/Countess, Mother, Grandmother, Homemaker, Seamstress/Tailor, Cook, Gardner, Dancer, Violinist. Per Granny's wishes her interment at Resurrection Cemetery will be private.
