Ernest Perry - Obituary

rnest “Ernie” I. Perry, 89, a resident of Annapolis, MD and Boca Raton, FL died at FutureCare-Chesapeake on March 17, 2010 of natural causes. Born December 5, 1920 in West Virginia, he worked as a metallurgist with the David Taylor Research Center until he retired in 1974. Ernie served in the United States Navy. He was a former member of the Annapolis Power Squadron. Ernest enjoyed electronics. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances Perry, whom he married in September of 1957 and who died on March 17, 2000; stepfather of Judith Wilder of Annapolis, MD; step-grandfather of Jim Wilder, Debbie Leonard and Sonya McKenney. Friends are invited to Ernie's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Saturday, March 20, from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Funeral services and interment will be held at a later date in Florida. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
