Estelita Arangorin - Obituary

rs. Estelita Arangorin, (nickname Stely), long time resident of Fort Washington, Maryland transitioned on Friday, July 15, 2022, shortly after her 91st birthday. Mrs. Arangorin was born on June 24, 1931, in Manila, Philippines. She was a full-time housewife and raised six children with her late husband. Mrs. Arangorin filled her life with many of her favorite things to do; traveling, singing Filipino hymnals and reading the Bible. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family (children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren). Mrs. Arangorin was preceded in death by her husband, Palermo Arangorin. She is survived by three daughters; Loida Arambulo (Fort Washington, Maryland), Lydia Calazan (Fort Washington, Maryland), and Arlene Arangorin (Waldorf, Maryland), two sons; Ronnie Arangorin (Fort Washington, Maryland), and Benjie Arangorin (Houston, Texas), four grandchildren; Pauline Retener, Edwin Arambulo, Jr., Roger Arangorin, Jr., and Christian Singson, six great grandchildren: Isabella Retener, Trey Arambulo, Jaxon Arambulo, Lulla Estelle Goodwin, Bree Singson, and Chip Singson. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Mrs. Estelita Arangorin on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, from 2 to 8 pm, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 2 to 8pm and Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 4 p.m. until the start of the service at 6 p.m. All life celebrations and the funeral service will be held at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, Maryland 20745. Interment will follow on a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia 22211. Condolences are accepted by using the Memories tab on this page.
