ugene Hall, age 91, a thirty seven year resident of Annapolis, MD died of heart and kidney failure on Sunday, April 10 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born on January 31, 1920 to the late Carl A. and Mellie Hall, Gene graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSEE) in electrical engineering. For most of his life Gene worked with the Federal Aviation Administration in Washington, D.C. as an electrical engineer. During World War II he served in the U.S. Army and in his spare time, Gene enjoyed woodworking, metalworking and cars. Gene is survived by his wife, Lois June Hall who he married in 1947 in Kansas City, MO; a daughter, Nancy Carlton Mulligan of Fairfax, VA; a son, Mark Eugene Hall of Bowie, MD; a sister, Dorothy Green of Springfield, MO and two granddaughters, Emily S. Hall of Austin, TX and Sara A. Hall of Laurel, MD. Friends are invited to Gene’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Thursday, April 14 from 3 to 5PM. Interment will be private at Arlington National Cemetery.
