ugenia Z. McAndrew, 90 of Bethesda, Maryland died on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living in Bethesda, Maryland. Born Saturday, November 20, 1920 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ignatius Zaleta and the late Harriet Hulek Zaleta. She was the wife of the late William McAndrew. She was employed by State of Pennsylvania as a social worker and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and Mount Calvary Catholic Church in Ditrict Heights, MD. Surviving are sons, Michael William, Thomas and James McAndrew, daughters, Sara McAndrew of Bethesda, MD and Eugenia McAndrew of Bethesda, MD. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church located at 917 Montrose Rd., Rockville, Maryland 20852. Interment will be in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at St. Elizabeth CC, 917 Montrose Rd., Rockville, Maryland.
