Eunice Morton - Obituary

unice Morton, 87, a longtime resident of Crofton, died of natural causes Oct. 30 at South River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Edgewater. Mrs. Morton was born March 7, 1920, in Ronceverte, W.Va. She spent many years as a florist. Later in life she worked at the former Woodward and Lothrop department store in Parole. She was a charter member of Crofton Community United Methodist Church, and enjoyed baking, quilting, painting and various crafts. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth D. Morton, whom she married Oct. 31, 1942; two daughters, Jana Bolster of Edgewater and Betty Fioramonti of Aldie, W.Va.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 7,2007 at Crofton Community United Methodist Church. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church, 1690 Riedel Road, Crofton, MD 21114
