Evelyn Babbitt - Obituary

velyn "Ev" S. Babbitt, 74, a 12-year resident of Edgewater and previously of Bethesda died at her home on August 29, 2012 of natural causes. Born August 19, 1938 in New York, she graduated from Suitland High School and attended the University of Maryland. Evelyn worked for N.I.H. in Bethesda until her retirement. She was a member of Riva Trace Community Church in Davidsonville. Ev enjoyed travelling and loved being with her grandchildren. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Elaine Miller and her husband, Buzz of Eldersburg; two granddaughters, Molly and Abbey Miller of Eldersburg; and her former husband, Earl Babbitt. Friends are invited to Evelyn's Life Celebration on Wednesday, September 5 from 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Interment private.
