Evelyn Reilly - Obituary

velyn C. Reilly, 91, of Annapolis, MD passed to eternal rest on April 26, 2009 at her residence in Heritage Harbour. Born August 21, 1917 in Portland, Maine to Earl L. and Clara M. Centeabar(nee Weggland). She spent most of her childhood in New York City, and was in the first graduating class of Roosevelt Hospital as a registered nurse. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, William F. Reilly, Jr. and her son William F. Reilly III, who was killed in Vietnam while serving his country in the United States Marine Corps. Evelyn enjoyed her family and her friends, and worked in the community, and as a nurse at Cheverly Hospital as well as in doctors offices, and was an active member of Heritage Harbour senior community. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Reilly Cross, Lynne A. Reilly and Karen R. Casteen and son Robert Carobrese, her 15 grandchildren and her 11 great-grandchildren. A gathering will be held on Thursday from 7-9pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD 21037.A memorial mass will be offered on Friday May 1, 2009 at 9:30am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD. A reception to follow.
