Eveyln Seek - Obituary

velyn "Nani" Grace Seek, 88, a 3-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Ocean City, MD and New Port Richey, FL died May 4, 2012 at her home of natural causes. Born July 15, 1923 in Friedens, PA, she was employed for the United States Department of Commerce and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Evelyn was a member of Oxon Hill Methodist Church since 1959. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased, on December 29, 2011, by her 2nd husband, Charles H. Seek, whom she married on July 24, 1949; her first husband, Bob Marley; a sister, Audrey Reed; and brother, Henry W. Albright. Evelyn is survived by two sons, Robert W. Seek of Damascus, MD and Gary S. Seek of Waldorf, MD; a daughter, Karen M. Fitzpatrick of Annapolis, MD; a brother, Eugene D. Albright of Edgewater, MD; 4 grandchildren, Leslie Fitzpatrick of Annapolis, MD, Chris Seek of Washington, DC, Stephanie Onguka of Kenya, Africa and Gary Seek of Waldorf, MD; and several great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to Evelyn's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Saturday, May 12 from 4 to 7pm. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Road Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
