Fay Mason - Obituary

ay Lily Mason Fay Lily Mason, 89, a 2-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Millersville, MD, died on Friday, December 11, 2009 at her son's home in Millersville, MD of natural causes. Born August 11, 1920 in Sparta, North Carolina, she was a homemaker, raising her two children. Her niece is currently writing a book about Fay and her sister growing up in North Carolina. One of Fay's greatest joys was spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, R. Eugene Aisquith. Fay is survived by her children, Larry Aisquith of Millersville, MD and Bonnie Forsythe of Annapolis, MD; her sisters, Dorothy Amato of New York , Gussie Joines of Texas and the late Ett Blackburn. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Darin Aisquith of Cape St. Claire, MD and Kelly Boone of Federalsburg, MD and her great-grandchildren, Kayla and Karly Aisquith and Nicole and Nicholas Boone. Friends are invited to Fay's Life Celebration today, Sunday December 13, 2009 from 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, where funeral services will be held on Monday December 14, 2009 at 1pm. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
