Florence Albert - Obituary

lorence E. "Peggy" Albert Peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 with her loving husband at her side at age 95 at her home in Temple Hills, MD. Peg was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Electra Chapter#2 and an employee at Stephansons Bakery for 32 years and served 20 years in the Contract Division Naval Facilities Engineering Command before retiring in 1980. Peg is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Eugene H. "Dutch" Albert, two sisters, Margaret McDowell and Elizabeth Kihn, a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins and their children. Peg is also survived by her angel and caregiver Jacqueline Edwards. Relatives and friends are invited to Peg's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Sunday, June 1 from 2 to 4, where services will be held on Monday, June 2 at 11 am. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on Friday, October 3 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy, Annapolis, MD 21401.
