Florencia Robles Agustin - Obituary

lorencia Robles Agustin was born May 11th, 1932 to the late Avelino and Bartolomea Cruz Robles; the youngest of six children. She is survived by her sister Anastacia; her four other siblings—Auring, Ising, Catalina, and Cardo have passed. The well-respected Robles clan hails from Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines. Florencia, fondly called “Puring,” was married to the late Pedro Agustin Sr. Together they had Rufina Agustin Austria, their only daughter, who selflessly cared for Puring throughout her prolonged health complications. Puring also nurtured six stepchildren: Sisenando, Juanito, Wenceslao, Pedro Jr., Felizardo, and the late Fabian. In the early 70’s and 80’s, the family migrated to U.S. Puring was blessed with 18 adoring grandchildren: Jessica Marie, James Peter, Realynne, Reasol, Rea Mae, Khasmir, Melody, Wenceslao Jr., the late Marwence, Bella Catalina, Willie Angelo, Peter Vincent, Clarissa, Peter Edward, Peter Chaste, Paul Henry, Fr. Patrick, and Ninia Eliza. To date, she has 25 beautiful great grandchildren. On April 15, 2022, this Good Friday, Florencia passed away after living a long and fulfilling life. She would have turned 90 this May. Puring’s selfless nature and generous soul will be treasured by us forever. Relatives and friends are invited to Florencia's Life Celebration on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7800 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745.
