loria Rosa Imperia Lavorata, 79, of Rockville, MD passed away on September 20, 2018. She was born on November 20, 1938 to the late Francesco and Maria Calemme in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Floria retired from Hecht’s Department Store as a Senior Sales Representative. She enjoyed Cooking, Sewing, Knitting, collecting Dolls, and most of all, being with her family. Floria is survived by her Husband, Frank Lavorata; her Son, Robert Lavorata (May); her Daughter, Maria Lavorata, (John Williams), 3 Brothers, 4 Sisters, and 2 Grandchildren, Gabrielle, and Dominique. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathy Lavorata. A Life Celebration will be on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, P.A. 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. A Service will follow on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave. Suitland, MD 20746
