Floyd Stanley - Obituary

S Army Korean War Veteran, of Oxon Hill, MD, formerly of Shenandoah, VA passed away peacefully following a long illness on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. The beloved husband of Margaret J. (Yates); devoted father of Floyd H. III "Buster", Rachel, Patricia, Christopher, Lori and Richard; loving grandfather of Jennifer Groves Stanley, Gary and Holly Herr, Evan and Cory Nichols and Joshua Stanley. Family and friends are invited to Floyd's Life Celebration on Sunday, April 7 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Interment private. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimers Association.
