ortunata Pangaliman Labrador, age 79, of Fort Washington, MD passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Fort Washington Hospital in Fort Washington, MD.
She was born October 14, 1941 in Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines to Melecio and Adriana Tuddao Pangaliman. She moved to the United States and obtained a Masters Degree in Administration from the University of Central Michigan. In 1966 she married Agustin Labrador and in 1967 she started working at Greater South East Community Hospital in Washington, DC in nursing where she worked for over 30 years. She ended her career as Director of Nursing at Hadley Hospital in Washington, DC.
She was a long standing member of the Philippine Nurses Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC and a member of St. Columba Catholic Church in Oxon Hill, MD.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Agustin Labrador; her son, Eric (Christine Brehm) Labrador of Colorado Springs, CO; her daughter, Yvonne (Mike) McManus of Leander, TX; her granddaughters, Angelina, Adriana, Amelia and Alayna Bellosi and Taylor Brehm.
