otios Kokkinos, 93, a 40-year resident of Annapolis, MD died on Thursday,November 15, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born on May 5, 1919 in Greece, Fotios served in the Greek Army during WWII. He worked for Giant Food and was a member of Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Annapolis.
Fotios was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Victoria F. Kokkinos in 2011. He is survived by three sons, Dr. Peter Kokkinos of Annapolis, MD, Dimitrios Kokkinos of Clifton Park, NY and John Kokkinos of Bishopville, MD; one brother, Mike Kokkinos of Annapolis; one sister, Yianoula Simos of Greece and seven grandchildren, Victoria, Nicholas, John Peter, Jason, Antonio, Chrysovalanti and Sophia Kokkinos.
Friends are invited to Fotios' Life Celebration on Friday, November 16 from 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 10am at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Road, Annapolis. Interment St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Cemetery.
