Frank R. Stachitas, Sr. - Obituary

rank R. Stachitas, Sr., “Frankie”, passed away on Monday, May 2 after a lengthy illness. Born on August 15, 1942 in Pottsville, PA to the late Frank A. and Aldona Stachitas, Frank graduated from high school and began working at his father’s construction company. After some time, Frank began his own underground utility construction company, FRS Construction. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville, MD and was known for his generosity, unique sense of humor and candor. Frank loved a good story and many family sayings are attributed to him. He was happiest when he was with family, playing with his dogs, gardening and spending time with friends. Frank is survived by his wife, Andrea Anderson; his children, Frank Stachitas, Jr., Kelly, Michael, Ann, Amy and Devin Anderson; his siblings, Bruce, Judy and Aldona; 12 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD on Friday May 6 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.
