G. Jeane Young - Obituary

. Jeane Young, 58, an 11-year resident of Edgewater, died Tuesday, October 18 at the University of Maryland Medical Center of natural causes. Jeane was born December 23, 1952 in Washington, DC to the late Bob and Ellie Young. She graduated from La Reine High School in Suitland and from the University of Maryland in College Park with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English . She worked in the banking industry for her entire career. Most recently, she was a bank compliance officer at the Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union. Jeane was devoted to her work and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by a sister, Jodi Wheeler, and brother-in-law, Retired Anne Arundel Police Officer Dennis Wheeler of Centreville. Friends are invited to Jeane's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, where service will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 12:30 PM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
