Garfield Luther Loflin - Obituary

n Saturday, November 25, 2017 of Temple Hills, MD. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Scott Loflin; loving father of Lynn M. Loflin Lowe, Keith Scott Loflin and the late Mark Allen Loflin (infant son); cherished grandfather of James M. Cushman and Nathan Daniel Loflin; great-grandfather of Kenzlee M. Cushman; brother of Barbara B. Inscoe and Linda Loflin Williams. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vivian and Garfield L. Loflin, Sr. and his siblings, Mary A. Loflin Eason, Gilbert W. Loflin and Thomas M. Loflin. Garfield graduated from Fayetteville High School in North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the Addison Crane Company in Washington, D.C. A graveside service will be held at Washington National Cemetery in Suitland, MD on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
