Gary A. Groves - Obituary

ary Arnold Groves, 74, a resident of Davidsonville, MD, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Gary was born on October 8, 1947, in Washington, DC to the late J. Arnold and M. Lois Groves. Gary worked his entire career with the Prince George’s County Government, first as a police officer and later as a school resource officer with the school system. Gary also proudly served his country in the US Air Force reserves. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Murphy. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Vance Groves, his sisters; Bea Mclean of Newburg, Oregon, and Shelby Jean Hall of Columbia, South Carolina. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
