Gary Pilipovich - Obituary

ary George Pilipovich, 60, also known as “Polish Prince”, a 27-year resident of Chesapeake Beach, MD and previously of Forestville, MD was received home to his Lord and Savior on March 12, 2011 in Calvert County, MD after a 14 month illness. Born July 17, 1950 in Uniontown, PA, to the late Rudy and Margret Pilipovich, Gary graduated from Suitland High School and was employed as an electrician with Union Local 26 IBEW. His lifelong friends, Linda and Chip Gaither, along with their family had the privilege of serving Gary in their home during his courageous battle with his illness. The Gaither family celebrates Gary’s life and asks all family members and friends to take comfort and assurance in knowing that Gary is now with our God in Heaven. Gary is survived by his sister, Linda (Victor) Lundberg of Poolesville, MD; a niece, Carey Griffith Edwards of Farmington, MN; a nephew, A.J. Lundberg of Poolesville, MD and a great-niece, Ella Grace Edwards of Farmington, MN. Friends are invited to Gary’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2pm.
