Gay Cook - Obituary

ecilia Gay Cook, 78, a twenty-three year resident of Annapolis and formerly of College Park, MD, died on March 8, 2015 at her residence. Born in Pomona, CA on June 26, 1936, Gay worked with FedEx for thirty years. She was a member of the Methodist church and loved animals. She worked at a veterinary hospital and raised Arabian horses. Gay was enthusiastic, always willing to help others and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Morley Cook, whom she married on March 4, 1971; her children, David and Michael Blackwell and Susan Williams, she is also survived by six grandchildren. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 12 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment will be private.
