Gayle S. Clow - Obituary

ayle Enders Sayre Clow, 72, a 28-year resident of Annapolis and Arnold, MD, died at her home on May 21, 2022 of natural causes. Born August 28, 1949 in Gloversville, NY, attended Southern Connecticut State University where she obtained a BA in art education. She worked as the Executive Director of Corporate Relations at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for 10 years in Washington DC and loved being a part of the DC political community. Gayle was a longtime volunteer at the DeCesaris/Prout Cancer Foundation and the Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre. She enjoyed travel, sailing, gardening, politics, reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and LONG lunches with friends. Gayle is survived by her two daughters, Cameron (Jon) Fisher of Easton and Jamie Clow of Boston, MA; two grandchildren, Phoebe and Elijah Fisher; a sister, Diane Enders of Uncasville, CT; and a niece, Seana Miller of Beverly, MA. A celebration of Gayle’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 1 at 3 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
