George Hafferman - Obituary

eorge Edward Hafferman, II, a 13-year resident of Annapolis and previously of Kent Island, died on March 27, 2014. Known as Eddie to family and friends, he was born April 16, 1985 in Annapolis, he graduated from Kent Island High School and Annapolis Area Christian School. He was employed for Chemstretch, Inc. Eddie was a member of His Bridge in Stevensville, where he was baptized on March 23, 2014 and accepted the Lord Jesus as his savior. He enjoyed all sports, especially basketball and loved his children and family. He is survived by three sons, Edward Michael, Anthony Lee and Roman George Hafferman, all of Centreville; one brother, John Anthony Hafferman, Jr. of Columbia; his parents, John Anthony Hafferman, Sr. and his wife, Diane Schertle of Bel Air and Debbie Casagranda and husband, Michael of Annapolis; his grandparents, George and Dolores Hafferman and Robert and Jacqueline Dunn. He is also survived by three stepbrothers and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are invited to Eddie's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater on Sunday, March 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, and on Monday, March 31 from 10am until a funeral service begins at 11am. Interment private.
