Beloved husband of Margaret Mary Hunt of 34 years; loving father of Anthony Jaz Hunt, Mia Alison Hunt and Veronica Rose Bundy; dear brother of Norman Christopher Hunt and Rose Marie Miller. Visitation will be held at Mount Calvary Catholic Church, 6700 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD 20747 on Saturday, September 2 from 10am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Loving husband and father, loyal friend, teacher, coach and artist. In George's art, as well as life, Christ literally enters the picture to change everything. In many ways George was a simple man. He loved God, Margaret and his children. He loved friends, family and every child he ever met. George was a man of prayer, a passionate artist, coach and teacher. He lived simply and loved profoundly. For George, love was an action verb. George has left us with an empty canvas. Now we must all be artists to fill the great void he left in our hearts. Always a teacher, George modeled simple lessons for us to learn and live for the rest of our lives. Prioritize, listen and work. First, prioritize. There was never enough time for our restless friend to accomplish all the plans swirling in his genius mind, yet he made time every day for God, family, friends and the passionate sharing of his many gifts. Next, listen. Take time to listen to God and he will speak to your heart. Finally, work. Do the work God prepared especially for you. Do your work with boldness and passion as you share love, goodness, beauty, life, energy, and truth as far and wide as your strength will allow.
