George W. Stevenson - Obituary

eorge W. Stevenson passed away on April 4, 2017 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte hall, MD. He was 88. George was born on April 16, 1928 in Tennessee to the late George and Janey Stevenson. He attended West Virginia and George Washington Universities. George served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps. After his military service ended, George worked for the Department of the Navy as a civilian. He retired as a Standardization Specialist after 36 years of service. George's interests included; reading, history and spending time with his family. George is survived by his son, Thomas Stevenson and his wife Theresa, his grandchildren; Katey and Laurin and his brother Ralph Stevenson. It was George's wished to have his funeral services private.
