Geraldine E. Scott - Obituary

eraldine "Geri" Elaine Scott, 88, a 24-year resident of Annapolis, MD, and previously of Long Island, NY, died on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Ginger Cove Health Center, following a brief illness. Born November 30, 1936, in South Hampton, NY, to the late William and Antionette Ewers, Geri worked as a flight and private duty nurse. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Parish in Annapolis, MD, and enjoyed travel, cooking, and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Zdeb, and a sister, Leonore Sullivan. Geri is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Steve K. Scott; three children, Steven (Nancy) Scott of Cape Cod, MA, Lisa Marie Scott of Davidson, NC; and Cheryl Cuthbertson of Lamoille, NV; a brother, Lionel Ewers of Killorglin, Ireland; and two grandchildren, Nicole and Alex Cuthbertson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 10:30 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis, MD.
