Gertrude Fears - Obituary

ertrude Fears, 92, of Oxon Hill, MD, went to her eternal home, on November 6, 2022. She was born in Edgefield, SC on June 7, 1930. She married Booker T. Fears on September 5, 1980, who preceded her in death. Two stepdaughters and one grandchild also preceded her in death. She is survived by 9 Children: Lynn Badgett, William Badgett (Sandra), Donna Badgett Hurley, James Lamont Badgett, Teresa Badgett, Malinda Kitchings (Anthony), Priscilla Brady (Anthony), Suzette Ward, and Caroline Brown, 34 Grandchildren, over 30 Great Grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was employed by Prince George’s County schools until her retirement. She held various jobs throughout her life including being a Foster Parent. Funeral arrangements will be 10 am on November 21st at Holy Family Catholic Church, located at 2210 Callaway Street, Hillcrest Heights, MD 20748.
