len M. Kerschner” Doc”, 73, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, MD passed away on December 10, 2023, in Annapolis. MD. Glen was born on May 19, 1950, to the late Ernest, Jr. and Jacqueline Robey and was a graduate of Sunny Acres School. After high school, he worked for Sunny Acres and then had a long career with the Anne Arundel Board of Education, where he retired from in the early 2000s. Doc was a member of the Annapolis Moose Lodge #296, American Legion Post 7 in Crownsville, and was an active member of Calvary Community Church in Riva. His interests included crafting, making flower arrangements, and gardening. He also enjoyed working at Bingo’s, fishing, and was a proud Godfather to many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Doc was preceded in death by his brothers, Ernest W. Robey, III, and Stanley O Kerschner. He is survived by his siblings; Diane Robey of Annapolis, Marjorie Hendricks and her husband Rick of Stevensville, James Robey and his wife Mary of Easton, MD, Kevin Robey of Annapolis, Bob Robey of Oklahoma and Linda Fraser of Idaho. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Glen's life on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 2 pm to 4 pm and again from 6 pm until 8 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doc’s memory can be made to Calvary Community Church of Riva, 3272 Riva Road Riva, MD 21140.
