Gloria Hennessey - Obituary

loria A. Hennessey, 84, a 35-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Prince George's County, MD, died peacefully on January 10, 2010 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of natural causes. Born May 10, 1925 in Boston, MA, she was the owner and operator of Fleet Street Antiques in Annapolis for over 17 years. She was also a founding member of the Annapolis Branch of the American Antiques Arts Association. In addition to antiquing, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Hennessey, whom she married on January 20, 1943; two daughters: Linda Schulz of St. James City, FL and Joyce Hennessey Mastin of Harvest, AL; a brother, Donald M. Cefail of Folsom, CA, two grandchildren: Elizabeth Hennessey Russell of Edgewater, MD and James Patrick Hennessy, III of Gambrills, MD and five great-grandchidren. Friends are invited to Gloria's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Saturday, January 16, 2010, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral service and interment will be private.
