Gordon Lee Kingsfield, 80, a resident of Edgewater, MD for 44 years and previously of Hyattsville, MD, died of natural causes on Sunday, February 12 at the Rebecca Fortney Inpatient Care Center in Pasadena, MD. Born on September 11, 1942 in South Dakota to the late Otto V. and Artine Mae Kingsfield, Gordon was a part owner/ operator of Precision Marine in the 1970’s where he sold Hawaiian jet boats at Bladensburg Marina in PG County until the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission decided to renovate the marina.  During this time, Gordon became an import dealer of Lotus cars. When Lotus ceased USA operations, he worked as an auto diagnostics technician for Arlington Forest Service Center in Alexandria, VA for 40 years, retiring in 2021. In his spare time, Gordon enjoyed RV camping and working on cars. In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by his brother, Spencer Kingsfield. He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Glenna Kingsfield; his children, Raymond Kingsfield of Knoxville, TN and Pamela Koechlein of Arvada, CO; his grandchildren, Michael Blake and Morgan Vallandingham,  and Johanna and Sophia Kingsfield.
