Grace Masciarelli - Obituary

race Adair Masciarelli, 82, a 15-year resident of Davidsonville, MD and previously of Selby on the Bay in Edgewater for 40 years, died on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Grace was born in Washington, DC on September 14, 1928 to the late John Oscar and Clara Adair Robb. She graduated from McKinley Tech High School in Washington, DC. After graduation, she worked for a brief time for the Federal Government before becoming a homemaker. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, reading and spending time with her family. Grace was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Joseph G. Masciarelli, who died in 2004 and her son, Bruce Masciarelli, who died in 2006. She is survived by her children, Steve Masciarelli of Stevensville, MD, John Masciarelli of Edgewater, MD and Diane Dawes of Inwood, WV. Also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to Grace’s Life Celebration on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, where funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11am. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
