Gregg Wells - Obituary

regg Wells, 55, an 8-year resident of Crownsville and previously of Clinton, MD and Asheville, NC died April 7 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born July 21, 1957 in Washington, DC, he graduated from Surrattsville High School, where he played baseball. Gregg served in the United States Air Force. He was predeceased by a sister, Dawn Underwood. Gregg is survived by his wife, Denise A. Wells of Crofton, MD, two children, Nick Wells of Crownsville and Erin W. Rice of Weaverville, NC; three brothers, William Wells of Clinton, Daniel Wells of Marbury and Donald Wells of Djibouti, Africa; his mother, Mary Ellen Wells of Bryantown; four grandchildren; and his former wife, Geneva Hensley. Friends are invited to Gregg's Life Celebration on Thursday, April 11 from 4pm until time of funeral service at 7pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater.
