Guy Hartwell Trueman - Obituary

UY “HARTWELL” TRUEMAN, JR., 95, passed peacefully away Monday, November 6, 2017. He was the beloved son of the late Guy Hartwell Trueman and Cora Grimes Trueman. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Kathryn Aleine “Boots” Trueman Woolridge, Evelyn Trueman Meyers, Gladys Trueman Weirich, and Sarah Elizabeth “Sister” Trueman Nottingham. He leaves a host of family and friends to cherish his memory. Born September 26, 1922 in Camp Springs, MD, he was a 1939 graduate of Surrattsville High School and retired from PEPCO in 1983 after 41 years of service. Friends may call at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church (Historic Church), 5203 St. Barnabas Road, Temple Hills, MD 20748 on Friday, November 24th from 10am to 12pm with Services to immediately follow at St. Barnabas. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
