Ha Do Dao - Obituary

a Do Dao, 70, a 53-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Saigon, Vietnam, died at her home on July 15, 2021. She was born on March 19, 1951 in Hanoi, Vietnam to the late Ninh Dinh Do and Tinh Thi Nguyen. Ha worked as a pastry chef at the Kent Island Depot and in hospitality and retail. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, sewing, photography, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, and spending time with her family. Ha loved getting to know people and made sure no one left her house on an empty stomach. Ha is survived by her husband of 44 years, Tin Trong Dao, two daughters, Huyen Tue Dao and her husband, Joshua Richard Jamison, of Denver, CO, and Han Tue Dao and her husband, Gregory Nicholas Phillips, of Odenton, MD; a sister, Nghiem “Sun” Do of Stevensville, MD; and a granddaughter, Sen Marie Phillips of Odenton, MD. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Ha’s life on Friday, July 23 from 1 to 3 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 11 am.
