ao Lam, 74, a resident of Crofton, MD for 3 years and previously of New Orleans, LA died at his home on August 1, 2008 of Lung Cancer after a 3 month illness. Born July 15, 1934 in Vietnam, he graduated college in Vietnam. He moved to the United States from Vietnam in 1990. Beloved husband of the late Ty Thi Ngo who died in 1988; father of Hung Lam of Las Vegas, NV, Dung Lam of Vietnam, Tuan Lam of Vietnam Van Lam of Vietnam, Toan Lam of Vietnam, Nhan Lam of Vietnam, Giang Lam of Vietnam, Thanh Lam of Davidsonville, MD, Lien Lam of Crofton, MD, Dung Vu of Fort Smith, AR, Uyen Lam of Davidsonville, MD and My Cindy Lam of Davidsonville, MD; brother of Luom Nguyen of Vietnam; son of the late Khe Lam and Ngoc Le; also survived by 19 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Friends are invited to Mr. Lam's Life Celebration on Wednesday, August 6 from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8 at 5:30 A.M. Interment private.
