Harvey Edward Harris, Sr. - Obituary

ARVEY EDWARD HARRIS, SR. of Oxon Hill, MD passed on January 6, 2021. Harvey was born on November 15, 1948, the son of Henry E. Harris and Marguerite Coles Harris. He is survived by his mother Marguerite Harris, his wife of 49 years, JoAnn Harris, his son Harvey Harris, Jr., two grandchildren (Shaleia and Rasaan), a brother Winfred (Maria), one sister,Simoko Allen (Michael), and a special uncle Robert Coles. Harvey served in he U.S. Navy (Jan. 1967 - Oct. 1970). He joined the DCFD (Fire Department) Jan. 1973 and retired Dec. 1999. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, there will not be a memorial service held. A Celebration of Harvey's life will be held at a later date.
