assed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the age of 99, in Fort Washington, MD. Survived by her son, James (Paige); granddaughter, Angela; sister-in-law, Opal Mamakos; brother-in-law, Wally Dove and Ken Mullins and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Helen's Life Celebration on Wednesday, February, 5th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. where services will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 11am. Interment will follow at Epiphany Episcopal Church Cemetery, Forestville, MD. In lieu of flowers,the family requests that donations be made in Helen's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, 5845 Richmond Hwy., Suite 800, Alexandria, VA. 22303.
