Helen Stone - Obituary

n September 27, 2012, Helene E. "Helen" Stone of Edgewater passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center with her family by her side. Helen was born March 24, 1918 in Stamford, CT to the late Anton and Julia Schmidt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Lewis H. Stone, who passed away in 1995. She is survived by four children, Robin Stone, Daniel Stone, Richard (Judy) Stone and Kerrie (Dennis) Treat; one sister, Elsie Osborne; eight grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Roland and Thurston Stone, Christie Silvis, Jason, Ben and Nathaniel Treat; six great-grandchildren, Kristopher, Brooklyn, Hunter, Orion, Gianna and Marc. Friends are invited to Helen's Life Celebration on Friday, September 28 from 4-6PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 29 at 1:30PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Rd., Edgewater. Interment is private.
