n Friday, November 27, 2015, Helen Elizabeth Williams passed away at her home in Heritage Harbor.
Helen and her late husband, Dewey, previously resided in Sun City, Arizona. Born on December 2, 1925, in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late Harry and Anna Knight, Helen graduated from Business School at Western Union School in Springfield, Missouri. During World War II, she was a telephone operator in Lake Charles, Louisiana and on January 1, 1946 she married Dewey L. Williams. Helen later became a secretary for the Public School System in Tulsa Oklahoma. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as the United Daughters of the Confederacy, where she served as President of the Arizona Division. Helen is a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Crownsville.
She is survived by her son, Ken and his wife, Karen Williams of Annapolis and two grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlin Williams.
A service will be held on Thursday December 3 at 11 am at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1505 Crownsville Blvd., Crownsville, MD. Interment will be private.
