enry Martin Eberly, “Dutch,” a resident of Annapolis for 38 years, died on Monday, December 28, surrounded by his family at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was born on March 12, 1929, in Washington, DC, to the late George and Lelia Eberly. A Master Plumber, Henry took over his father’s business and operated H.R. Eberly & Son for over 35 years. He loved spending time at home with his family and enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, and his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Dolores Eberly, whom he married on October 7, 1950; his daughters, Karen (Steve) Godfrey, Vickie (Thomas) Byron, and Terri Eberly (Marty Gransky); and his grandchildren Dylan Byron, Lelia Byron (Nicolas Garcia), Briana Byron, and Brandon Eberly Peters. Friends are invited to celebrate Henry’s life from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, December 30 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, December 31, at St Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037.
