Herbert Boone - Obituary

n Monday, June 7, 2010; the beloved father of Herbert N. (Clara), Roland O.(Cecilia) and Timothy (Sherri) Boone; brother of James and Joseph Boone, Cather Mae Lewis and Adell Wilson; grandfather of Roland O. Boone, Jr. and Briana Johnson. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Boone was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained during the Korean War. Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Boone's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Monday, June 14 from 11am until time of service at 12noon. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 9am.
