Hiltrud Rooney - Obituary

iltrud S. Rooney,”Ceddie/Trudi”, a 14-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Prince Frederick, MD died on Sunday, October 9, 2011 in Annapolis, MD of lung cancer. She was 69. Born May 22, 1942, in Germany, to the late Stefan and Wilhelmine Sedlacek, Trudi moved to the United States in 1962. She was employed as a business manager for The Calverton School in Huntingtown, MD. Trudi was predeceased by her 2nd husband, Roger M. Rooney, whom she married on October 7, 1994 and who died on January 29, 2010. She is survived by one son, Peter Harris and his wife, Sheryl of Middletown, MD; three grandchildren, Anthony, Michael and Julia Harris; two sisters, Helgard Roell of Wuppertal, Germany and Hanne Klingenburg of Planckstadt, Germany; and her 1st husband, Anthony Harris. A funeral service will held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:45pm at Ft. Myer Chapel, Arlington National Cemetery.
