an Peter Urlock, 52, a resident of Cape St. Claire who grew up in Arnold before moving to the Cape, died on October 16, 2023. Born in Baltimore on May 14, 1971, to John and Jackie Urlock, he graduated from Broadneck High School in 1989 and was self employed in the boat lift industry. Ian loved all things sports, participating in GARCI recreational leagues during his youth to softball, Old Man Basketball or playing Golden Tee, as an adult. He enjoyed watching almost any professional sport, especially the Orioles, but found the greatest joy in cheering on his boys in their respective athletic events. In addition to his parents, John and Jackie Urlock of Centreville, Ian is survived by his sons, Cameron Urlock of Annapolis, Nathan Urlock of Towson, and Max Urlock of Arnold; his siblings, Rob (Jen) Urlock of Annapolis and Catherine (Darryl) Starner of Cambridge, MD; and the mothers of his beautiful children, Rachael Urlock and Janna Jackson. Please join the family as they come together to celebrate Ian's life on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the American Legion, 830 E. Central Avenue, Edgewater, MD 21037. The celebration will be from 1-4 PM, with words of remembrance at 3 PM. Light fare and a cash bar will be provided, and if attending, please park in the "event parking" area located behind the building.
