nez Clough Foley, 85, a resident of the Heritage Harbour community in Annapolis since 1994 and previously of Riverdale, MD, died peacefully of natural causes on August 10, 2012 .
Born March 21, 1927, she grew up in Kitzmiller in western Maryland and enjoyed bingo, bowling, cooking for family, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Inez was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Annapolis, Sons of Italy, Peppers Club of Edgewater and a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Landover Hills where she was involved in Sodality and The Leisure Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlo and Cindy Cardaro, one sister, Rose Valken, two brothers, Pete and Tom Cardaro, her first husband, Lyle A. Clough and one granddaughter, Melissa Mongan.
Inez is survived by her husband of 31 years, Raymond J. Foley; her children, Kathryn (James) Elder of Davidsonville,MD, Susan Roher of Virginia Beach, VA, Mark (Linda) Clough of Charles Town, WV, Michael Clough of Arnold, Maggie DeBoard of Fairfax Station, VA and Patty Clough of Studio City, CA; one brother, Charles Cardaro of Newport News, VA; five grandchildren, Kristen Smith, Jason Elder, Jennifer Kline, and Andy and Maggie DeBoard; and four great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Chase and Ava Kline and Zoe Morgan.
Friends are invited to Inez's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Monday, August 13 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis on Tuesday, August 14 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
