Irene Burgess Nee Slominski - Obituary

n Sunday, August 19, 2012 at her residence in Lanham, MD; the beloved wife of the late Daniel F. Burgess; mother of Linda Saffell; sister of Florence Ciampi; grandmother of Christine D. Courtney, Deborah L. Long and Richard D. Saffell. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Irene's Life Celebration on Sunday, August 26 from 2 to 4pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD on Monday, August 27 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PGFF, SPCA, PO Box 1036, Bowie, MD 20718.
